BAND: Without Andrew
TRACK: Don’t Turn Away
CONTACT:
Without Andrew are:
Sam Robertson
Danneh Gleave
Monique Tallow
Mat Buckley
Without Andrew are a four piece punk rock band from Manchester, blending together the sounds of older punk rock with the more modern day pop punk of Green Day and Blink 182, as well as the vocal stylings of The Used, Creeper and Secondhand Serenade. Their new single ‘Don’t Turn Away’ is released on Monday 26th October. The song was born from songwriter Mat messing around with an acoustic guitar, singing the first line of the song and knowing there was something to build on. The song became a love story about the challenges between connecting and co-existing in a world so vast. Mat says of the single: “‘Don't Turn Away’ is a massive step forward in both our writing and performance ability, showing that we are able to write songs with impressive, difficult vocal melodies and interesting guitar parts that show off the ability of the band. I believe this is our best song to date."

BAND: The Institutes
SONG: All That You’ll Ever Know
CONTACT: Coventry’s finest anthemic rock n roll combo THE INSTITUTES release their
soaring new single ALL THAT YOU’LL EVER KNOW on Friday 13th November.
Vocalist Reid Zappa Currie: “It’s the sound of 4 lads in a freezing cold garage in
Coventry, feeling like we’re looking through a keyhole at a better life, and
dreaming, with knife edge hopes of escaping, to get a taste of ‘living in paradise’ ”.
This is the INSTITUTES first single for 42's Records.

BAND Bedfires
SONG Hand And Compass

BAND Skylights
SONG Darkness Falls
CONTACT  York based anthemic rock n rollers SKYLIGHTS release their EPIC 2nd physical single DARKNESS FALLS on Friday 23rd October

This cinematic track, was produced during lockdown, vocal-
ist and lyricist Rob Scarisbrick: ‘I think the song captures the fear and emotion felt by many around the lockdown. It brought the best and worst out in people. Their debut physical single “ENEMIES” hit number 2 in the UK Physical Singles Chart in June, held back from the top spot only by Fontaines DC. In 2021 Skylights will embark on a tour (some dates already sold out) which will see them play Leeds Uni, Aberdeen, Glasgow, London and Dublin, as well as Live At Leeds, Hit the North, Sound City and Bingley Weekender. Infusing Britpop and post punk influences, Skylights have fast built a reputation as a ‘band of the people’ through live shows, an appearance on SOCCER AM (click to view) and relentless interaction with a growing hungry, loyal and passionate fanbase , which includes a surprisingly eclectic array of sports & media celebs including the BBC’s Mike Bushell, Josh Warrington, Guy Mowbray, Gaetano Berardi and Westlife’s Nicky Byrne to name but a few.

BAND PreHistoric Animals
SONG Floodgate
CONTACT For Fans of Muse, Tool, A Perfect Circle

”What happens when you love classic progressive rock, alternative rock and brilliant pop music? You make it very hard for yourself..... but despite that, PreHistoric Animals have gained huge success in all these areas. When they released their second album, The Magical Mystery Machine (chapter 1), they were praised by both the audience and the reviewers.

Samuel Granath and Stefan Altzar created the first album - Consider it a work of art in 2018 and when it was time for touring Noah Magnusson and Daniel Magdic (Ex. Pain of salvation) joined the band. The first Magical Mystery Machine tracks were written in 2019 and the album was released on September 30th 2020.”

BAND - Counting The Killers
SONG: Counting The Killers
UK band COUNTING THE KILLERS release their third single from the e.p HIDDEN IN THE OPEN.
With 6 tracks being released on a monthly basis, this track titled HEAD ABOVE WATER deals with depression and is a departure from the bands usual heavy vibes such as WINTER (August release) and CTK (September release)
Downloads from the bands website are being donated to two mental health charities and HEAD ABOVE WATER merchandise from the bands shop are going too.

BAND Emperor of Ice Cream
SONG Everyone Looks So Fine
CONTACT Rarely (if ever) has a band’s debut album taken as long to reach its fans as No Sound Ever Dies by Emperor of Icecream; but perhaps theirs is no ordinary story. The album’s title alludes to the feeling within the band when a 2020 newspaper article elicited an emotional response from followers and ensured Cork’s FIFA Records thought it prudent to get the band members sitting around a virtual table.

Now based in Cork, Waterford, New York and Amsterdam, respectively Eddie Butt, John ‘Haggis’ Hegarty, Graham Finn and Colum Young, resolved to both delve into early releases from Emperor of Icecream and return to studio to put the finishing touches on a album that was shelved 25 years ago, when they prematurely parted company with their label, Sony Records.

They discovered a treasure trove of recordings and unfinished ideas that still sounded remarkably fresh despite the passing of time and began the process of completing a project that they had left Cork for London to work on during a heady period in the mid-nineties. Fledgling riotous performances and early demos had piqued the interest of several record labels, but Sony pipped them all to the post with a promising development deal, and the lure of London captured the imagination of the four young Cork musicians.

It resulted in three extremely well-received EPs (Overflow, William and Know Me) and recordings began with 'Fast' Eddie Clarke of legends Motörhead, who has contributed work on three of the new album’s tracks. No Sound Ever Dies kicks off as it means to go on with the title track from the William EP, and what follows is a musical petri-dish of shoegaze sounds, with touches of psychedelia and classic indie rock.

The two singles ‘Lambent Eyes’ and ‘Everyone Looks So Fine’ (which both enjoyed Number One positions in digital charts) are two gems on a rollercoaster Side A, while ‘High Rise Low Rise’ slows the pace down a little with its chilled Disintegration-like resonations. ‘Again and Again’ picks the pace up once more before the epic closer ‘Grow As You Are’ brings things to a crashing and fitting finale. Twenty five years in the making, the appropriately-titled No Sound Ever Dies is testament to that very notion, and a poignant end to this chapter for a band who may have once burned out, but didn’t fade away.

Band: FAZE
SONG: Carried Away
